Prayer Strategies for May 2020

According to Proverbs 29:18 (AMPC, AMP), where there is no redemptive revelation of God or His Word, the people cast off restraint and perish. Let us agree and decree together that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ gives this nation the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God, the eyes of the understanding enlightened. (Ephesians 1:17-18)

Recognizing and confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ is key to a successful prayer life. The apostle Peter, on the day of Pentecost, stood and declared that God had made the crucified Jesus both Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36)  As a result of Peter’s bold confession of the Lordship of Jesus, 3000 souls were born again into the Kingdom of God.

Philippians 1:9-11 (KJV)   Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Romans 10:13 (KJV)  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Psalm 47:10b …he is a great King over all the earth.

Prayer:  Jesus, we recognize and confess you as Lord over our lives, our families and our nations. You are the great King over all the earth. Your name is much higher than any sickness, disease, (including CoVid19), financial lack or any other problem we encounter in the earth. We call upon your great name and are saved, rescued and delivered.

Isaiah 26:15 NLT  O Lord, you have made our nation great; yes, you have made us great. You have extended our borders, and we give you the glory! 

Matthew 28:18-19a TPT  Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All the authority of the universe has been given to me. Now go in my authority and make disciples of all nations…”

Luke 10:19 NKJV  Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Psalm 91:9-11, 13 TPT  When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. … You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, We acknowledge that all authority in heaven and in earth is given unto you. we go, therefore, throughout our everyday lives representing your authority, being your disciples and making disciples. You have given us authority to tread on all the powers of the enemy and nothing shall hurt or injure us. We live under the shadow of your wings. No evil will prevail against us or disease infect us. Your angels are on special assignment to protect us and defend us from all harm.

Psalm 149:6 NKJV  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

Our praise, our worship, His presence is our weapon. Praise the Lord.

Leviticus 25:10 NKJV  …and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants.

Isaiah 61:10 NKJV  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me … To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

Prophecy given 5/24/20   “I hear a liberty bell. I hear a liberty bell ringing in the nation! Set My people free! Freedom to come, freedom to go, freedom to move with Me,” says the Lord. “A new liberty, a new peace, prosperity to come and go as you please in My presence. Freedom of access as I draw you to a new place of My presence. For the time to come is now. Come unto Me. See how much freedom and liberty I have for you. When they would say, ‘You do not have liberty—we restrict you,’ I say I am enlarging you at this time for the future is now—that I may do My pleasure with My people and do My will for you,” says the Lord.

Acts 10:38 NKJV  how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
