Recognizing and confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ is key to a successful prayer life. The apostle Peter, on the day of Pentecost, stood and declared that God had made the crucified Jesus both Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36) As a result of Peter’s bold confession of the Lordship of Jesus, 3000 souls were born again into the Kingdom of God.
Philippians 1:9-11 (KJV) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Psalm 47:10b …he is a great King over all the earth.
Prayer: Jesus, we recognize and confess you as Lord over our lives, our families and our nations. You are the great King over all the earth. Your name is much higher than any sickness, disease, (including CoVid19), financial lack or any other problem we encounter in the earth. We call upon your great name and are saved, rescued and delivered.
